I did not take any entrance exam. Applied for Anna university counselling. My cut off is 190 / 200. The college was nearby my home.

The course was curriculum was drafted by Anna university. It is a typical Engineering course with 6 theory and 2 to 3 practicals each semester. More practical and lively method of curriculum would have helped in better understanding. On product review and presentations might also help.

Yes, my college provides internship, but for a very minimal percentage. One of my classmate was provided an internship with a stipend of 5000, which is lesser than other standard stipends. The philosophy of internship have to be improved.

The placement and job opportunities are in a mediocre level. There is no 100% placement. The average CTC is 3 Lakhs. Most of the placements are through IT companies, which is very bad for core students. So placements for core students need to be improved.

There was only one cultural event celebrated but it was not upto the mark. The tech fests also was celebrated once in a year. This aspect also need improvement, since interaction with other college students and knowledge transfer takes place in such an occasion. But sending to techfests outside is always welcomed by the management.

The fee structure was in between feasible and expensive. My fee was about 60000 per year without hostel. If hostel included it comes around 1 lakh. Many students pay donations for admission, where the college takes lot of money for seat, which is generally not disclosed.

No, as per my experience, there is no scholarship / loan facility offered by our college. But I can remember one of my friend availing some scholarship from government through our college management.

The Gender ratio is pretty good in our college. I would say around 60 : 40 boys to girls. There was one event that attracted my attention which is called bajaj car racing. This is an event where students build cars according o some specification and go for racing.

When i was studying there was no alumni network or senior student counselling. But recently the management has taken steps to improve alumni network via many social networks sites.

Yes, the exams and labs were very frequent. But the mode of exams is typical memorising and appearing, which needs to be changed. More of a workshop and interactive sessions need to be inculcated to refine this process. More of outdoor activities will also help.

Through Anna university counselling. The initial fees was paid during counselling itself. The remaining fee was paid after joining the college. The form was provided in the college, where we filled up and submitted with all our Xth and XIIth mark sheets.

The faculties can be categorised into 3 groups. Firstly, very good faculties with good knowledge and fit to be teachers. Secondly, mediocre faculties which are high in numbers. They need good training in teaching methods.
