ABESIT college review

I have applied for ABES Engineering College but I didn't join it because they are not giving me the domain which I want. There are various ways in which a student can take admission like direct admission, through JEE, UPSEE, etc, and the admission criteria I would say is very quick, it just takes around 50-60 min overall. The staff is very friendly and the overall college is in my terms is above average. The placement is around 90+ % and the highest package is over 19LPA and the overall package hovers around 4 LPA. The teachers are also good in nature, always supporting us wherever we need them.

I am very fond of computers since my childhood and I want to do something which would help me in building projects in the future, and I was very curious about how do code works. There are around 8 sections in the Computer Science Engineering branch in which each section contains around 60-65 students. Each section has around 6 to 8 faculty members and a mentor. They all are very supportive when we approach them and comes to their teaching....believe me I don't like maths but when I got into the college it became one of my fav subjects, they held class and module test time to time and the difficulty level is moderate.

We have to go under an internship at the end of the 4th semester that is the 2nd year. Students are advised to take part in Internships at their convenience. The stipend is around 10k which is very well enough for colleges students and the highest stipend is above 30k. Students are then assigned a project in which they have the role of junior developer and are working in a team with some senior devs.

The placements are good I would say and in this year i.e 2020 there are more than 20+ students who got a total of 10 LPA packages. The overall CTC is above 4 LPA. There are several companies that visited every year like to the new, naggaro, tata consultancy services etc,

The fees here are pretty moderate as compared to other colleges, but they want the whole payment in one go, with no installments and EMI's. Registrar and all the fee-related faculties are not behaving well. They were saying that if you would pay the rest of the payment they would charge an extra 2%. If you will add a financially weaker certificate then you would have to pay around 20k only, there is also an incubator cell in our college.

As you are very well aware of this pandemic so the I have not visited the college. My classes are conducting online since the orientation and there are no hopes of opening it in offline mode. There is a library in the center of the campus in which you will find every type of book related to your coursework. The campus also contains a cricket ground as well.
