Keyur Sapara's Review On Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya Engineering College - [BVM], Vallabh Vidyanagar

I passed in GHSEB exam with 75% of marks and GUCET with 78/119 marks. I had option for the one of the best college of the region NIRMA university but as BVM is the first ever engineering college of gujarat and have reputation in Education field so i choose this one.

During my Bachelors,I have gained a comprehensive knowledge in various subjects like Structural Engineering, Surveying, Geo technical Engineering, Earthquake Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Construction Engineering. My technical expertise includes in Surveying, Transportation Engineering and Construction Engineering.

Internship facility was available in 2007 from the company named ELECON based in UUN it self for the UG students with help of college. Currently I am not aware of internship facility for UG . For post Graduation there is huge scope of internship.

Over 35+ companies comes to place the best students in their companies includes MNC'S like Infosys , L&T , essar , ABB , TCS , etc. Over 1000 students got placed in campus selections for the MNC's and the relevant branches maximum number of students placed from civil and mechanical branches.

Many conferences happens in year on different subject for the particular courses and conferences related to government initiates are the often thing for the college , many events includes Udaan , Brahmashtra which are the state level events NSS collaboration , Sports Facilities.

There is many type of Scholarship schemes available in college. Which is sponsored from the government it self for the bright students who is not that stable in financial condition many companies are there to give scholarship to scholar students.

The campus is too good in terms of infrastructure every department of engineering have there own separate buildings for the class rooms and labs. For the mechanical students there is the biggest workshop their in college.

There is hostel facility for boys and girls separately boys hostel name is new hostel A-B-C wing and for girls Square hostel. Boys do have facility for accommodation in hostel with hot water , chilled drinking water , 24 hr watchmen facilities. For girls there is accommodation and mess facility is available with very tight security aspects like the last enter time in evening is 7pm.

The schedule for the lab and all is too chilled out types. Overall maximum 5 hours of college in regular days in which 3 hr for lectures and 2 for lab and the exam conducted in mid sem exam and the final exam only you will get enough time for the preparation of exam if you are studying in this college.

I got admission in Birla Vishwakarma Mahavidyalaya in 2007 at that time the process of admission was face to face council at the LD Engineering college Ahmedabad. First we got the counselling number from the education board depending on our performance in schooling and entrance exam.

The oldest engineering college of india get the one of the bestest faculties in this era faculties are outstanding in terms of academic , in terms of how to apply the knowledge in teaching skims , in terms of how to helping students to improve them selves.
