Remarks

The admission process is easy and simple .You can take admission by direct visiting the college. When I went to the college it was 12th of August 2019, a staff member of college took me to the counselling cell after visiting the college for the admission process. And I paid RS. 10,000 as an admission fee, and it was added in my tuition fee.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I am interested in machines. The student ratio is good but faculties are not enough. Faculties are well qualified and their teaching methods are easy and understandable. And term exams are held two times in a semester. These term exams are easy to pass because 1st term exam contains the first 2 units and 2nd term exam contains the last 3 units and there are total 5 units in a subject. If we study regularly we can pass all the exams easily.

Internships Opportunities

I have no experience with it. Because I'm in 3rd year and I have completed internship from other companies. But some companies offer PPO (pre-placement offer ) like Wipro and some other companies. This internship opportunity is very great.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible from 7th semester. There are some companies which mostly visits those are TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Wipro etc.The highest package of TCS is 12 LPA and average package is 6 -7 lpa. Approx 60 to 70 % students are getting placements every year .

Fees and Financial Aid

I have received a scholarship named ''Post metric scholarship'' and there is no financial support from college. I didn't get any job yet because currently I am in 3rd year and companies comes in 7th semester .

Campus Life

The annual fest's name is tech fest and it is conducted in August and September. There is a library in college, all books related to engineering are available in this library.and some magazines are also available here. Students can access all the books easily at one place. But I have very bad experience in sports, because there is no games conducted by college. They focused only on study . But there is a good thing that is NCC. students can join NCC .

One becomes eligible for college placements if he/she in their third or fourth year. The number of companies visits are great like Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase &Co. , Atlassian etc. These are the good companies which offers great placements. The percentage of students placed are about 85%. My plans after getting a degree is I'll move in tech based companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jiwaji is Government university which have a long heritage. But is now coming to the short end of the rope. Institute of Engineering Jiwaji is fairly newly established around 20 to 30 years or so. The faculty is not that great and is not that experienced and have less facilities. Faculty of IEJU is mostly on temporary payroll with some of the permanent faculty. You have entire leasure of time to yourself. So, thing other than couese can be pursued. Hostel facilities are good. If we come to exams Other than Pharmacy and Engineering all other course have tomoy scheduled exams with strict checking and scoring.

My college comes under Institute of National importance,it has amazing placement,the students in this college are very intelligent as everyone joins after qualifying one of the toughest exam JEE advance, college has beautiful campus and has well equipped labs and also hasquite low fee compared to other colleges.

Choosing a college is a major decision, and for many students OIST Bhopal, the choice often comes down to abalance between legacy, regional repution, and practical constraints. Students typically compare OIST with other top private colleges in Madhya Pradesh such as LNCT or VIT Bhopal. My rank falls in the 1.5 Lakh to 5 Lakh range, OIST becomes a primary choice. It offers the same RGPV degree as the government colleges but with a more structured trainig program for private placements. The admission process is centralized and follows the guidelines of the Directorate of Technicial Education(DTE), Madhya Pradesh. Qualifying exams: 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics(PCM). OIST Bhopal is an outstanding institute!
