Remarks
Before 2018, the admission process at birsa institute of technology is on the basis of the Jharkhand combined entrance exam but after 2018 the admission process is changed and they take admission on the basis of jee the main percentile. For the st and sc category 50% of seats are reserved.
Course Curriculum Overview
There is a total of 10 different courses are offered for every student. All of them are mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, mining engineering, electrical engineering civil engineering, mining engineering, and others. All faculties are good.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunity is given to every student. All students can apply for internships from their first year of college. Internshala and Aicte portals are very helpful for students. College also provides many companies to visit the campus.
Placement Experience
In placement wise , bit is one of the most responsible universities in jharkhand. It provides campus placement. In this year the highest package offered is 12 lakh and the average package is 6 lakh per annum. There are more than 70% students got their placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is very low. The per year tution fees for the general category are around 14 thousand and for st/sc/girls the tution fee is around 32 rupees. The hostel fee is set for all categories. Colleges provide many scholarships for every student.
Campus Life
The infrastructure of birsa institute of technology is very large and awesome. All hostels are very well. There are total 20 and more clubs are present in bit . Some of them are model club, Leo club, iete club, iste club, prayaas india and other coding clubs, which allow students to explore their talent.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are very well. All students have their seperate rooms. In the first year in one room, two students are staying. The mess facilities are also good. In a week they give four days non-vegetarian food. And all meals are healthy and full of nutrients
