Remarks

My mind was clear at that moment that I have to get admission in this college as this was nearest to my home and has a good reputation. I did not avail any kind of quota. The admission criteria for Engineering was that you have to pass with a minimum of 60 % and also must have pursued PCM or can say Science Side in Intermediate. The admission process was very smooth. I got one form and was asked to fill it. After that I was asked to submit the required documents. Within a day I got the admissions. Now, I guess, they are taking exams for admission. They have their specific exam pattern for that.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because I wanted to do Engineering. I was very much interested in the course and that's why opted for the same. There were specified faculties for each subject and they were all knowledgeable. They always created an aura in the classes within which students didn't felt bored. The faculties were all post-graduated or even some of them have done Ph.D. also in the respective subjects. The terms exams were once in a semester and I can say it was difficult for those who didn't study well. Otherwise, the pattern and clarity were good.

Placement Experience

2.5

The placements are provided from the companies. The main con which they need to work on is the salry package. They must provide freshers with enough salaries (after having discussions with the companies) that they can survive in that particular city.

Fees and Financial Aid

At that time, the fees of the course were less than any other institute but yes, the teaching pattern was good. There was a major con in the college and that they did not provide any kind of scholarship or financial assistance for the engineering students. They have their placement fairs in the college itself and I myself got placed in a job from core engineering from the college. One thing they must keep in mind is that they need to increase the salary range by having conversations with the companies because students need to survive while working in any city.

Campus Life

4.5

They have defined buildings for every department. There were many fests and one big one is INERTIA that comes with a theme. There was a fresher's party, farewell (like in all colleges) but they tend to celebrate anything and everything. Even if there was no occasion the Chancellor once threw a DJ Party for the students. They have fields for outdoor sports and courts for basketball and badminton. There are clubs for every vertical for example they have STRIDE CLUB for Sports and many more. I must say they have a very good campus life but they need to work on discipline.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I opted for a hostel facility and it was quite good. The food provided in the mess was good. At times of fests, they provided food for day scholars as well. The meal quality and menu were very good. The registration process was very lenient and within one day everything came into place. The facilities provided were good enough. There is a cafeteria as well which has its own opening and closing timings.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
