College Review-ABES Engineering College

I have applied for INMANTEC Institutions but I didn't take admission in it because this college was very far away from my home (nearly 20km) and the placement history is not very good. I have taken direct admission and anyone can take admission but if you have a higher percentage then it will be a plus point for you in the near future. The admission process is very smooth, just takes around a total of 2 hours.

I have opted for Masters of Computer Application or MCA, I have done BCA and have pretty good knowledge of programming languages, databases, and networking. I have to pursue my career in the Software Engineering domain. There are a total of 2 sections i.e Sec A & Sec B where each section consists of around 70 students. There are a total of 8 faculty per section and to be honest, the way of teaching is very good. From time to time assignments were given and we have to give 2 sessional exams per semester.

There are many companies like Accenture, Wipro but I have been offered a role of SDE from cognizant with the stipend of 10K. The interview experience was very amazing and it was just completed in under 1 week.

In my course i.e Master of Computer Application, we are not provided with any sort of internship opportunities, at the end of the 2nd semester we have to go through placements if anybody is selected then he/she first has been offered placement then a full-time job. In my college, there were more than 100 companies who visited each year, some of them are TCS, Wipro, cognizant, naggaro , Accenture, etc. The highest package here in ABES EC is 35 LPA at amazon and the average package is around 4.5 LPA. Our college has an amazing history of placing more than 90% of the students in total.

The fee hike is hovering around 5%. When I have taken admission it was a total of 136200 INR and this time the price gotta little bit high. You can also get financial aid if you provide your required certificates to the authorities. We have to go through an internship at the start of the 3rd semester which is the 2nd year, the internships are provided by the college itself and the stipend is pretty nice considering that we are college students.

All year our college celebrate multiple fests but due to this pandemic, all these kinds of stuff are going online and mainly most of the fests are organized in the month of October and November. We also have a huge library where we get all the course-related material. The classroom is fully furnished and well lighted. There are multiple clubs in our college but I have joined only once which is Google Developer Student Clubs or GDSC.
