Remarks
The admission process was fairly simple. They gave forms to the students and then, the ones with the highest percentage out of all the ones who came for interviews were selected. Even students with 70% Or lower marks got admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exams were very timely in the first semester but in the later ones when covid hit India, the exams were over delayed for almost 60 days. It is easy to pass. Just need to focus on important topics. The exams are also easy but marking is a little bit strict.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester, students start becoming eligible for placements. The companies which visit are ola, byjus, ambiance mall, Saket Select city mall, etc. The highest packages are like 3 lakhs per annum and the average is 2 Lakhs per annum. Profiles of salesperson, Receptionist, etc are given. Around 20% of students get placed. I plan to study abroad in either USA or Canada.
Fees and Financial Aid
I did not get any scholarship or financial assistance. I was supposed to get one as I had 90%+ marks but they delayed the scholarship to a point it was no longer given. I got an internship all by myself.
Campus Life
Jamia Hamdard has an annual fest in which people like Javed Akhtar, Pankaj Tripathi, etc cone and there is speech competition, shayri competition, and fest for the students. The Central Library of Jamia Hamdard is a 5 floor round building with thousands of books covering business, law, history, medicine, literature. Once In a year a premier League of Cricket also takes place in the University cricket ground. There is still no major club in the department of management.
