It was smooth, attend the counseling based on your rank you will be allotted courses and hostel. JIIT has one of the best locations compared to all the other colleges in Noida, being in an electronic city it's at the core of many startups. I didn't avail any Quota as such, cause there is no such thing. It's pretty much general for everyone.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is not very good, but if you get good peers you can definitely work on your coding. Skills and perform better in placement exams. Better don't rely on faculty rather study on your own. T1-20 marks T2-20. Marks T3 - 35 marks Internal -25
Placement Experience
In the 2020 batch, most of the companies offered 6LPA, and around 30% of companies offered around 10-13LPA, there are few companies who came for more than 15 like Amazon, Morgan Stanley, Grofers and Adobe but most of them have restrictions for boys as per the policy of diversity hiring. But scenarios have changed now even Google has started visiting the campus.
Fees and Financial Aid
70K - tuition 50K - hostel 60k - development fee Apart from tuition, everything can increase gradually and they generally do it around 20K every year. As per my information, there is no scholarship provided, but better information could be availed by talking to the administration.
Campus Life
The college is really beautiful, and the hostel facilities were really good compared to other colleges in Noida. Especially Jaypee takes care of the health and sanitation. The library is filled with tech-related books and has huge libraries, but you won't find content related to fiction or novels. For overall development, there are multiple groups and hubs, and NGOs where you can participate and enhance your personal development. Such As Debsoc, It's our earth, drama, and dance club.
Hostel Facilities
2 students in 1 room, You get meals 3 times a day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is generally good compared to other colleges in Noida. The menu is fixed for every week apart from special days. Even if you are a days scholar u can eat in mess by paying 50rs and there is no limit on how many times you can ask for the food.
