Beautiful campus, Placements are nice, The faculties are satisfactory

Firstly I got a seat in NIT Kurukshetra, where I got the ECE branch. Above in the list, I had the NIT Jalandhar IT branch and in the CSAB round, I got NIT Jalandhar IT branch. The minimum criteria for joining in it is 75% in class 12, along with the appropriate percentile in JEE MAIN.

I was interested in the information technology field so I opted for the course. Also, the syllabus seemed very interesting As of now, one faculty takes the class of 120 students. Talking about faculties, they are not very good but some faculties are truly intelligent and they have good knowledge of their subject. The exams are basically conducted every semester along with quizzes every 2-3 weeks.

I was offered internship in an organisation as a web developer where I was assigned the task to make a website for the organization in the period of one month The stipend offered was 15000 rupees. Several companies provide internships as software developers, including major companies like Microsoft, Amazon and Samsung.

The students who have passed the second year are eligible for on-campus internships the major companies which offer a package of greater than 20 lacs Amazon, Samsung, Microsoft, Uber and many other The highest package is around 40 lacs per annum offered by Microsoft. The average package is around 10 to 12 lakh per annum for IT and CS branches In the non core branches, this figure is somewhat lower

Fees for the entire course of BTech is around 9 lacs as I was not in the EWS section, so I was not applicable for any scholarship The students who are either in the EWS section or students who have the parental income of less than 5 lacs per annum, those students have a fair chance to Grab a scholarship

There are several Tech communities in our college almost every week according to the contest is conducted where the winners are provided with certificates. Overall the coding culture is very good. Other clubs such as debating club, photography club, drama club are also very active. Sports clubs are somewhat inactive The librarian is also very cooperative She provides ebooks as well. There is a special society also, which provides free education to children who can't afford education This society is entirely managed by students in the second, third and fourth year

There are a total of 6 small hostels 3 Mega hostels and 3 Mega hostels are under construction So a total of 9 hostels are there at present. There is three girls' hostel as well. The quality of food is very good there is a separate mess for vegetarian and nonvegetarian students. 10000 rupees are to be deposited as caution money and will be refunded as and when leaving the college
