I have applied many colleges during JOSAA councelling.But I considered NIT TRICHY because of its ranking and placement percentage which was highest in the nits. I have availed of OBC-NCL quota. Admission criteria consist of the rank you scored in JEE MAIN, and age is not a matter. The admission process runs through a site which is known as JOSAA.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was very much intrested in chemical subjects So I choose this course Here the faculty are quite more than every college I think so.NIT Trichy has covered all subjects faculty Most of my faculty are the ones receiving Ph.D. from either foreign universities or major IIT's. Exams are conducted as per the schedule which is given prior to the schedule. Like almost every month we have either a mid-sem or sem. And Passing is very much easy it's enough we attend every class
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Dr.Reddy Laboritaries, ITC, etc. are the companies that come for the intern offers There are many projects and outcomes to clarify the tasks. The projects and outcomes to clarify the tasks come under very much different types of categories
Placement Experience
Form the seventh-semester students become eligible for campus placements Many major campanies like Google,amazon,Gold man sachs etc visit our college. Average Package of our department runs around 8lakhs per annum.But major packages are recieved by students from computer science. As per our chemical department 100% students are getting placements. My plan is to get a good software placement after receiving my degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
No fees hike. The fee is set by the central government only I think.It is common for all NIT's. The fee is 62500 per semester.But we have a 10000 extra fee for campus maintenance every year I recieve scholarship from NSP (Nationasl Scholarship portal) every year for my study.
Campus Life
The annual fest is in September it is conducted in generally in September. And tech fest is Pragyan which is conducted every year in March. Many sports events are conducted every year like for freshers we have aaveg which inter hostel sports competition. There are many clubs in the college. Covering all most all types of catogeries.
