Remarks

So the counseling process is very simple first you need to register for IPU counseling the form will be active before and after jee mains exam and there are form charges too. IPU takes your JEE Mains score for admission under Btech. Also, there is a reservation for Delhi candidates about 85%. The fact that there is no OBC quota in IPU colleges except for the main campus that is USICT. The counseling process lasts for at least a month and it is online. Coming to Cutoffs:- The cutoffs for the CSE IT branch is like 80k for Delhi candidate and 60k for outside Delhi candidate.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I am doing Information technology at MSIT, the faculties here are very good and supportive most of the faculties are Ph.D. holders. Also, the faculties are highly experienced like about 10 years. The faculties focus much on academics and attendance but it's not very strict. The exams are moderate just reading the notes and the previous year's paper would be fine.

Internships Opportunities

4

The Entrepreneurship Cell and Community are very active in MSIT. So you won't find it difficult to find an internship. Many students here are doing Paid Internships solely with help of the Entrepreneurship Cell being in 1st Year. Also, The Programmer's Community and Coder's Community are very active. As far as I know, 5-6 big tech companies come from the third year to give internships that include Amazon, Adobe, and some other good companies like Josh Tech, ZS Associates, and early-stage startups. Because of the student crowd of this college, you will never miss out on any opportunities regarding the internship. Many students do Open -source and remote internships, freelancing from 2nd year onwards.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement scene is arguably the best when it comes to the quality. MAIT has too much crowd and therefore, their stats seem to be better than MSIT but when it comes to proportions, MSIT is ahead. Mass recruitment is done by Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant, etc. After them, several good companies visit to offer packages in the range of 8–14lpa. If you have the skill, you can get a good job. CS/IT witness 95% of students placements with an average package of 7 LPA followed by ECE at 5 -6 LPA but EEE placements are very poor most of the students here go for higher studies or some Competitive exams. This year 7-10 students grabbed a package above 20 LPA above with the highest of 55 lakh offered by GOOGLE. ZS Associates recruits every year recruits 20+ students at 12 LPA and many more companies come with 6.5+ LPA for recruitment each year. Placements stats are increasing every year for MSIT.

Fees and Financial Aid

So the fees are not high like other private colleges Its fees per year are 1.35 lakh so the total cost of a 4-year grad is abt 5.3 lakh. Apart from this, there are various scholarships given by the Delhi government to colleges in Delhi including MSIT as well based on your family annual income and the college itself provide various scholarships to merit students and EWS student(up to 80% fees refund) and during this pandemic situation, the college has given fees refund to the students who lost any of its parents. Loans are also available. So the fees factor makes this College very Affordable. Coming to placements CSE/IT are best which provides 95% placements and if you are in 30% of your branch then you can expect an average package of 9-10 LPA and considering the whole college it comes to around 5-6 LPA. This year's highest placements were 55 lakh offered by Google ..and 21 students are placed at ZS Associates with a package of 12 LPA. And many more students who get above 7lpa (approx.60).

Campus Life

3

By a general outlook life at MSIT is quite light. You will have various clubs to become member of as well as Techfest and cultural fests are good to rejuvenate you and keep you interested. Just be outspoken and a happening college life is there, waiting for you. Students and seniors are quite open and fun loving. So just easy out and enjoy this phase of life :D . MSIT location is a plus point as various hangout places are just a walkaway from college . Also, you can enjoy IPU main fest ANUGOONJ happening every year . So life at MSIT is preety decent .

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

So placement cell is not present in college because of low intake of students but the students are very skilled to crack Gsoc , and other internship opportunities which lands them into big company. Also very good alumni network is present in college which boosts the placement of college.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
