A student overview - VIIT

I have applied for many other colleges in my region but due to my score, did not get admission to those colleges. I have got admission to this college which I have joined. I was allocated with the OBC category. The admission process is like every other college if you are qualified in the Eamcet you can apply based on it if not you can join by paying full fee. You need to half of the fees during the counseling. If you wish to opt for any other colleges do not pay the fee because they will not return back. I wrote the entrance exams for many other colleges but the results are not out by the counseling time, I did not know they won't return the fee because I paid the fees I missed admission into the best colleges. So do wait if you have any other options of colleges in.

I choose this course because I was n to technology at that time. The student-faculty ratio is for each section we have around 65 students. We have four sections and each faculty teaches one subject for any two of those sections. Most of the faculty are Masters completed. They teach using Presentation which they just read out and then explain the same. The exams were easy and anyone with minimum skills can clear.

You will be given placement training for communication skills from the first year but you will get eligibility to all training after completion of your 5th semester. I have got three offers from off-campus drives without any inclusion of my college. As I got selected off-campus they did not allow me for any on-campus drives with almost the same pay scale saying that I already had an offer. Maximum will get placed but most of them are from below average paid companies. I have joined in IT sector after completion of my degree.

The actual fee is 99000 but based on Category reimbursement I paid only 68000. You will get merit-based scholarships if you get top in the branch which they give after an interview. You will not get any financial assistance they will not let you write the exam and humiliate you if you don't pay the fees on time. The companies that come for placements are just minimum package companies they do show big companies coming but they will only send selected students for those exams only those students will be sent to all big companies and they will only get selected in every company. On average, you will get 1.5 to 2.8 LPA companies based on your skills and if you are an above-average student you can get up to 5 LPA but those companies are very rare to come on campus.

You will have one Youth fest and one technical fest apart from that you will have a regular hackathon which is good to improve your skills. You do well find the library but not any recent editions of the book. They will have very few books so it's better to take when ever available. Better take it at the start of the academic year. You can play sports after college time by staying in college you do get to play during college hours if there are any tournaments happening by obtaining permission from each faculty. They do have technical clubs fr students but with very little activeness in the participation because they won't encourage these things.
