No entrance examination was required. I opted for the college because it is best college in the region with best faculty. I opted for b.com because it was my career requirement.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course structure consisted of mainly the subjects related to commerce for which proper classes were given. Teachers were cooperative throughout the 3 years. We were given various topics to research on which we had to collect various market related data and had to analyze it and make our own reports.
Internships Opportunities
As per as my department was concerned which was of the commerce no internships were provided. Not sure of the other courses that whether internships were provided.
Placement Experience
As far as placement is concerned companies visited our college were not very good but not very bad also. If your score is good you'll get a decent job however jobs offered were always less in comparison of the number of the students passed out. Overall if your academics are good and if your communication skills are good you will be place easily.
College Events
Celebration in the college were very avid, Being a college inherited with politics, festivals and other events were celebrated with great zest and zeal. Events celebrated there includes Diwali, Holi , New Year , Christmas, Saraswati Puja, Independence day , 26th January.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure there was quite reasonable for each year if you are pursuing B.Com you have to pay 5500 for each year if adding the figure that would land around 16500 for all the three years and if you are good at studies if will be provided with scholarships.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships were given to students who were selected in the merit list of around Rs.5000 or Rs.10000. Talking about loan There were no facilities were available for loan.
Campus Life
Campus life was very cool and entertaining, Talking about the gender ratio it would be 4:2 that is 4 boys per two girls. Diversity in the college was average only students used to came there were from uttar pradesh only but still 5 % students were from different regions say bihar,delhi etc.
Hostel Facilities
I didn't use the hostel facility as I am the native of the Bareilly only but my friends used to stay there. Hostel facility was not available in the college campus but can be availed in the university with which our college was affiliated. It was reasonable and affordable.
Exam Structure
Exams were conducted during march every year. Difficulty level of the exams was moderate. Seven to eight subjects were asked in every year of the exam. 40% were needed in every subject and in aggregate to pass the exams.Overall with average preparation anyone can pass the exams.
Admission
I applied online on the Bareilly college portal giving my basic details like name, previous school name, my percentage in 12th standard,my percentage in 10th standard, the board school was affiliated with, my date of birth etc. After paying the fees I was provided with the necessary forms to fill which I after filing deposited in the college.
Faculty
Faculty was the main reason I opted to take admission in this college. In all my three years in the college they were all supportive. Doubts were cleared as and when asked. Each and every topic was explained to students after full blueprinting on the side of the teachers.
