The admission process takes place officially through DTE counseling. Once you get allotted the branch and college, you will need to come to the college physically for further allocation and confirming the seat. The fee has to be submitted during this process itself, and remember that paying through dd would be the best option. Other options are available but authoritarians would not normally let you pay the fee by any other medium. You may get the CS for under 40k rank normally but it stretches further on if you have category benefits.

The curriculum is good as compared to other colleges. However maximum times the subject need will only be up to exam use but not placement helping unless it comes to few core subjects from the second year. The college culture is very good. A lot of well-skilled faculty are there to help you out in need. Faculties are well qualified and you can find IITians, Ph.D., researchers, and many qualifying people in Institute.

Many internship opportunities are available here, and we have heard good reviews but being a batch of covid we don't know much about this particular topic in depth. However, all the seniors we have come in contact with have caught wonderful opportunities and some of them are doing very well in the Entrepreneurship sector as well. The college is very supportive of student activities and club fests. Something always goes on in the extra- curriculum and we can have a lot of fun and amazing opportunities in such programs to polish our skills and personality.

The placement stats are quite good here, it is one of the best GFTI colleges of MP second after GSITS. The placement tracks are good and lots of golden opportunities are present. The average package for the CS branch is somewhat above 6 to 7 LPA. More than 90 % of CS students get placed from the college itself and the rest try to shine in off-campus placement or other competitive exams.

As such the fee structure is pre-decided for the whole 4-year academic session for a particular batch, currently it sums up to nearly 3.8 Lakh for the total of 4 years. There are many scholarships present both from Government and Institute's end. The details of such can be found directly on the official government website. Out of all MMVY is the most beneficial scholarship which comes from the MP government directly.

The campus life is very good here. All the people are very enthusiastic and many college clubs are Hyperactive presently including some very good clubs such as E-Cell. The annual fest of IET named 'AKSHANK' is one of the biggest events and is considered to be the best college fest among all colleges of MP. A well-equipped library is present for students and faculties and an online book access portal for few books is also available. Being a batch from the covid period, we didn't get to see much of the college physically but our seniors have given us good reviews about the availability of all facilities, whether academic or sports-related.
