I applied for PSIT college and also got selected but as I live in Lucknow I took admission in srmgpc as the hostel fees were very high at PSIT college. For got 14902 ranks in upsee exam. So I took CS branch in srmcem as it was also the nest private college in Lucknow affiliated to aktu The Faculties are good in college and guide us always. The college is quite big with the big ground which offers different sports.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Btech because I love programming and coding and was always keen to learn and explore new technologies. The faculties are very knowledgeable and help us always. There's a 1:60 ratio of faculty and student. The faculties are mostly post-graduated with some experience. The subjective quiz is conducted every week with 30 marks which count in internals.
Internships Opportunities
There's an internship/summer training provided by the placement cell of our college for the students in the 2nd and 3rd year. The projects vary from topic to topic. Some popular topics are AI, MLPYTHON, JAVA, CLOUD DATABASE, DJANGO, WEB DEVELOPMENT, etc.
Placement Experience
The college placements are good in this college. All the Students of the CS Branch get placed at the end. The highest package is given by SAP. The mass recruiters are TCS, COGNIZANT and there are some other good companies like PAYTM AND BYJUS which hire students from here.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees vary every year in 2019 when I took admission it was 130960 for the first year. The bus fees were 22000 which increases by 2000 every year. The students can apply for UP scholarship if they lie in the eligibility criteria. The scholarship amount is around 50000.
Campus Life
Gantavya and abhivyakti are the two cultural fests organized every year. Gantavya is organizing in the first half of the year while abhivyakti is organized in the second half of the year. The library is the best place in this college which also has lots of books and a very good environment. There are different sports available like basketball, table tennis, football, cricket, chess, etc. There are different cells and clubs in this college like Dcoders club, Grobots Club, Step cell, Euphony cell,etc.
