About My College

I have not applied but asked for the details of the other colleges. My uncle studied in this college so I joined this college. No, I have not availed of any quota. They had criteria for each and every department. For ECE they asked for 75% from the 12th class and I had that so I joined.

I am passionate about gadgets and want to know how to build prototypes. For 33 students, one staff. Teaching wise they are excellent. Because our dept has more number of experienced professors. Every 3-4 months we have a semester. If you study, it is easy to pass.

Students are eligible from the 3rd year 6th semester itself. For our batch, we had Avasoft, Aspire systems, CTS, TCS, Gox, Calibraint, Wipro and a lot more. Most of our seniors got multiple offers. They offers raanges from 3.5-8LPA .Based on your skill level, they will offer the package. They mostly offer SDE (Software Developer Engineer) roles. 85% of students will be placed. To pursue my learning and my work.

As s.a. engineering college has just now got autonomous status (before it was under anna university regulation) fees have got a minimal hike. Studying here may cost around 60k to 1l if you are a day scholar and it would cost around 1.5L to 1.6L if you want to stay in the hostel. There is a lot of government scholarship you can avail. You may get loans from banks but their wont is no help from the college side. There will be lots of IT companies visiting the college for placements and you get into it with some amount of stipend for initial days.

Usually, they conduct Culturals year by year, Pongal celebrations, Onam celebrations, etc., As we are in the Covid, we had only one culture in 2019. Also, our college has clubs with their respective divisions like tech club, dance club, paper presentation club etc., There is a Central Library, which is the main library, open for all departments and we also have Department libraries called Digital libraries, where they have books and journals with respect to their departments. We have a green board and projector connected with CPU's and will be used for teaching and Project presentations. I haven't gone for any sports but my friends who are already at the state or district level or represented their school participated in the sports. They will be always welcome for the new ideas and events told by the students. Department of CSE had done a project for the college. It's College Bus Tracking, simply tracks our bus and can be seen on our college website.
