Remarks
The admission is done through ACPC. The Acpc provides you rank according to your percentile. Percentile is calculated for 40% gujcet and 60% boards. There are three rounds for admission so you can change colleges 3 times if you want. The closing for computer is nearly 1300 rank. You have to be in the top 3% in Gujarat to get into this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The courses are so much old. I think they should change the courses. The first year is common for all branches even though you don't want to study mechanical eng. you have to study and yes CPI is calculated in your eng. So, there is a wastage of time and wastage of hard work. The faculty members are good but some are very poor you have to do some subject on your own. Some senior professor has good Qualifications while others have just ME or BE degree only. You can pass the term exam easily if see previous year papers and notes.
Placement Experience
The placement is normally not so good. The placement starts from sem 7 till sem 8. The company coming for placement is given on the website you can see on it. The avg. package is 3-4 lacs. And the highest is 8 lacs. 80% of people get placed and other students go GATE, CANADA, USA or government exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
You have to pay 1500 each year which is nothing compare to private colleges you save lots of money from your parents and use it for Master if you wish to do it. There are many scholarships like MYSY, and other government helping policies. Only you have to be eligible for the requirements to apply. You cannot get any job on campus
Campus Life
There is 1 fest each year and yeah every month different colleges come to our college and invite us for visiting their tech fest and take part in different activities. The library is good. The infrastructure is a very good very big campus. So many canteens. So many playgrounds to play in. The classrooms are bad you have to seat in front of rows to get visibility to board. There are many clubs and even sports teams as well.
