CIMAGE!!! Go for it .

I have applied for st Xavier's College (Ranchi ) but unfortunately, I couldn't get into that college because the number of seats for BBA was already reserved there. So I applied for B.com but after applying my mind changed due to my determination of pursuing a BBA only. After that, I applied to CIMAGE professional college, Patna. The reason for applying for the college was honestly, the placements of this particular college. Before applying here, I went through the website of this college thoroughly, do some research work. The cut-off marks were above 60 % . Then I went through the counseling phase. After counseling, I was determined to take admission here. I filled up the form went through the entrance exam, passed the exam with flying colors. Then came the personal interview round, I was interviewed by the director sir of the college. At the end of the interview, I was happy with my performance.

I chose BBA because I was always into business studies. The teachers here are all with high degrees in their respective fields. They go through a weekly evaluation of their performances in our college by the Dean. The relationship between students and teachers is also situational sometimes friendly and at other times strictly. Our faculty members conduct oral tests very often for our performance reviewing with some passing marks limits . The students who could not pass are invited with their parents on Sundays . The tests here conducted are both orally as well as written as soon as a chapter gets completed

Unfortunately, I am yet to get an internship from the college side because I am still in the 4th semester. Our college provides internships from 5th semester and I am looking forward to it. Usually, the internships are offered for a duration of 1 to 2 months only because the syllabus also needs to be taken care of. The offering is mostly from the corporate sector.

Student pursuing BCA are eligible for placements in the second year only , if they get selected then they are offered jobs after the completion of the couse. The companies which visited our college more often are Wipro, tcs , icici bank , big basket etc. The higest package till now is 6 lacks annually and average package range from 1.5L to 2L The percentage of placement is 50% My plans after BBA is MBA.

The fee structure of my college is a little bit expensive as compared to other colleges providing the same course across the city . But to be honest , it is worth it . Our class timing in the first year was from 8 am to 4 pm .we were literally tired initially and even cursed the college for thier timing , but over a period of time ,it beacome habitual. Our college provides loan facility for the management of fees . It has direct contacted with the government , and almost 50% students in our class are studying through the DRCC policy . As for the jobs I am still in yhe second year so there is no experience from my side yet because the placement usually takes place in the third year

Annual festivas take place very often like sarswasti puja , diwali program , ranjoli competition , dramas and dances followed with plays . There is a huge library full of books from different jenres .

For the interview, the topics that are included are basically current affairs followed by some general knowledge. One week is enough for preparing it. In the counseling phase, the college provides a booklet of topics that would be covered in the written tests and interviews/ GD rounds. The criteria is very simple the first round is counseling which will help you in deciding whether you are interested or not. If yes, then you go through the entrance exams. After passing the entrance exams you will go through the interview phase .. As for the preparations, internet is enough
