Internships Opportunities
Yes, the internships are provided. One of the companies being Microsoft. They take a competitive exam. 50% of candidates are called for the next stage. After which many levels of competition and test screens out 90% of candidates. Only the top 7 candidates go for the internship at Microsoft. They are given a stipend of 30000 per month.
Fees and Financial Aid
Financial Assistance will be awarded to the eligible students subject to the following conditions. Annual Income of the parent shall not exceed Rs.1,00,000/-. They should not have any standing arrear in Semester Exams. They should not be recipients of any other scholarship. Attendance should be more than 75% in each subject in the fall semester. They should not have involved in any disciplinary action etc.
Exam Structure
Exams are quite frequent. We have two CATs three quizzes per subject and one final term end exam. Thus all around the semester, we have to be prepared for the course. Along with this we also have two lab CAT(or one mid-term) and one final term-end.
Admission
I filled the online application for VITEEE. The entrance exam is conducted both offline and online across various testing centers. There is no negative marking based on the performance ranks are allotted. And on the bases of rank categories ie, 1st category - rank 1 to 1000, 2nd category - rank 1 to 10000 and so on, subject of interest is allotted.
Faculty
80% of the faculty is from the south of India. They are highly motivated and skilled in their fields. Yes, sometimes we face some sort of communication gap but it is very rare. except that the faculty is hardworking and try their level best to get our concepts clear.
