Remarks

I took admission in Bsc botany (Hons) for session 2019-2022 and the admission procedure is online. We have to fill the application form online mode and then on the basis of the merit list we get selected for various colleges under LNMU. If a student has 70-75% in their 12th then they get their desired college for any course.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty over here are well qualified. Most of the faculties have done Ph.D. in their respective fields & they are supportive. Teacher to student ratio is around 1:15. Usually, they conduct exams on time and if you have studied for around 1hr every day then you will easily get good marks.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 1200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The admission fee is 1100 and 1yr fee varies from 250-1100 depending upon the course which you choose. They have scholarship options but they don't provide any placement so don't expect one. For an internship, you have to search for it on your own.

Campus Life

LNMU doesn't conduct any kind of fest. They have a wide range of books in the library and one can easily find all books related to their course. Classrooms have fans.LNMU has an NCC club so if someone is interested in joining NCC can join LNMU.

The reality of A.N college: Academic, Politics, and placement.

Placement Experience:

From the last year students become eligible for the compus placement. Many students get selected in the campus filed like sbi, airtel, Infosys, icici bank etc. The highest package reached around 5 lac and average around 2-3 lac per annum. 80 percent placement rates my plan after getting the honour degree to full the government exam on graduation level.

A Meaningful Academic Journey with Practical Exposure

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall, I would rate the course curriculum as good and fairly comprehensive in terms of both relevance and coverage. It includes most of the important subjects required for building a strong foundation, and it gives a balanced mix of theory and practical learning. One of the main reasons I chose this course was the wide range of core subjects included in the syllabus. The curriculum covers fundamental topics as well as some advanced subjects, which made me feel that it would be useful both for jobs and for higher studies. The inclusion of projects, assignments, and case studies also influenced my decision, as they help in applying concepts in a practical way. In terms of real-world preparation, the curriculum prepares students reasonably well. Many subjects are directly related to industry requirements, and the project work helps in developing problem-solving and analytical skills. However, practical exposure can be improved further by adding more hands-on activities, live projects, and industry-oriented tools. For students who want to go for higher studies, the theoretical base provided by the course is quite helpful. There are a few areas where the curriculum and teaching methods can be improved. Some subjects have outdated topics which should be updated according to current industry trends. More focus can be given to practical training, internships, and skill-based courses. Teaching methods can also become more interactive by using more discussions, presentations, and real-life examples instead of only slide-based lectures. Regarding the exam system, the course follows a semester-based pattern. There are usually: Internal assessments like quizzes and assignments during the semester One end-semester exam at the end of each semester Exams are conducted twice a year, at the end of each semester. Patna science college does not have a very structured campus placement programs, especially compared to institutions with a dedicated placement cell. many students from my college pursue careers in govment sectors like Teaching, public sectror, or scientific reasarch organisantions like ISRO ,DRDO ,BPSC,SSC, UPSC,etc. A significant numers of students from my college opt for futher studies ,enrolling in master's or PHD programs. Placement Experience:

I choose this course because of my interest towards the environment and surroundings. The students and faculty ratio are approx 30:1. Faculty members are much more helpful in nature while teaching. I think the teachers in my department (Geology) are much better than another department

My story

I chose this college mainly because of its affordable fee structure, safe environment and the balanced commerce curriculum it offers. I had also applied to two other nearby colleges—one was more expensive and the other had limited seats for B.Com, though I did get confirmed admission in one of them. I preferred LNMU because the faculty reviews were better, the campus felt more comfortable, and the academic load was manageable along with other commitments. I didn’t get into one college because their cutoff went higher than expected that year. The admission process at my college is simple: students need to pass 12th with the required percentage, apply online through the university portal, and then wait for the merit list. Usually no separate entrance exam is needed; admissions are purely merit-based, and the cutoffs for B.Com stay around the average range but vary slightly every year.
