Remarks
The second best option in the city was ITM Group of Institutions in terms of studies and placement both. There were multiple cultural activities for personality development. I got admission in the College level counseling in 3rd round. The bad aspects includes the failure of the Cultural event due to students politics and lack of management support. Also, most of the campus placement were from marketing companies and almost nil placements for Finance students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was not exactly of the college, it was pre defined by the affiliated University and was too old without any changes as per the present scenario which was a shortfall. I chose MBA as I wanted to pursue a master's degree in management. The faculty student ratio was 1:15, faculties are phd holders and freshers both. Mid terms and end terms were conducted on a timely basis and it was not difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, I have opted for a summer internship in Indore with reference from one of our senior. College also brings some companies for internship placement of the students. For internship from college, we have a proper process of applying for that, then GD and PI happens post which only we get selected for any internship.
Placement Experience
The overall campus placement was good. The training and placement cell was continuously trying to bring more and more companies to the campus for students placement but mostly the companies were for marketing and sales profile for MBA students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure was very reasonable as 34000 per semester for all 4 semesters of MBA. For OBC and other backward categories, scholarship was also provided. Campus placement was overall good but mostly diverted into marketing and sales role.
Campus Life
There were endless cultural activities on a regular basis in ITM. Also, we have an annual function and every year, one famous celebrity comes from B-town to perform which was the USP of ITM Group of Institutions.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility was available for both boys and girls seperately and it includes room, food, electricity and basic amenities. The wardens were available there all the time for proper care of the students. Useful services like stationary and all was available in the campus and students are allowed in the day time to go out for grocery and other relevant shopping.
Admission
No, it was a direct admission. We have to apply on MP online and choose any 10 college priorities out of the multiple options available. We get the college of our choice on the basis of the cutoff and percentage obtained in graduation.
