Remarks
Was a good college in the state, one of the top through UPSEE. It has good infrastructure and environment, fairly well at extra curricular activities, clubs etc. Faculty is moderately good, some are better than the others. Fests were good too, at least better than the other AKTU colleges.
Course Curriculum Overview
Some of the teachers were good at subjects and actually taught, the others would simply read out the manual, occasional usage of presentation techniques, however most students found it useless, regardless the teachers would help with exam preparations etc. Good behaviour with teachers and taking up tests would ensure fair internal gradings. There is some fuss regarding projects though.
Placement Experience
There were more number of basic companies as in 3-4 lpa (Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Newgen,etc.) than there were of 6-8lpa (TEKsys, JTG, etc. ) but a few did come, there was Amazon and other good established companies on campus as well.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee Structure is usual 1.15 lac per year, the college hostels cost more around 1.40 lac specially girls, although, there are other off campus hostels that have better amenities but if proximity and ease is a factor, college hostels would do. Scholarships are available to the low income families, if proven. There are fines for delay in fee submission which is kinda over the top
Campus Life
Life at campus is good, fair number of clubs and societies, etc. Make sure to be a part of it, learn something new, and be there even if it means missing a few classes, most times it covers the attendance but you have to be careful with not going to overboard with missing classes because obviously there is detention and it is bad.
