Information about IPEC

Inderprastha Engineering College is famously known as IPEC. Let me first tell good aspects of IPEC. The most important and attractive about IPEC is that the training and placement cell is very helpful and many good companies come to campus. All the faculities are well knowledgeable and are very helpful in any types of doubts. The cafeteria is also good and parking facility is also good. The college is nearer to vaishali mentro Station. The bad aspects of college is that it is situated in industrial area due to which lot of pollution remains. There is frequent light cuts.

My course was B.Tech in Computer science. All the facilities in vomputer science department are well knowledgeable and helping in nature. They have good understandings of concepts and have hands on experience on different technologies too. Within a class around 60 students are there. The faculties are well qualified and all have masters degree. The teaching methods remain average, and also depends on students how they understand the particular teaching method. There are 3 term exams taken every month before main university exam and exams are easy to clear if you have good understanding of concepts.

I have done internship but not from college but on my own initiative. I have done internship in Webtek labs and done internship in Machine Learning. The project i worked on was object detection using deep learning.

In 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement and companies also starts onboarding them at that time itself. There are many companies that visit such as infosys, sopra steria, hexaware, ntt data, josh technology etc. Highest package remains around 15 lpa and average remains 3.6 lpa . Almost 80 percent of the students get placed. Plans after degree is to do job.

Every year there is fee revision or updation. According to recent information min 5 lac is cost of the course without any hostel accommodation. With hostel you can expect it to min 8 to 9lac. Yes you can get financial assistance from the college if provided valid reason. I got job in capgemini with package of 3.8 lac per annum.

The life at campus is very good and pleasing. There is lot of greenery around the campus and has central lawn too. There are many societies such as Trinity, ACM etc which regularly host different technical events. These forums also hire candidates after interviewing them. There is also 3 days tech fest every year in the month of March which is really a great event. At that time college vibes changes and it feels very amazing. There are also regular sports events take place in college and also zonal and inter University competitions also take place. There is vey big central library with lots of books. There are many computer labs too.

Hostel facilities are average and the food provided is also average. To get registered you have to fill form to accommodate hostel room with the seater you want like one seater, two or three seater. In locality there is kaushambhi and mohan nagar most famous for pg. They usually chareges 8000 to 9000 per month per person.

Yes, I faced group discussions as well as interview at the time of admission. The topics will be on current things happening in india, for example how covid 3rs wave can be prevented etc. The test pattern is based on 12th class subject topics. The whole process remains smooth if you are confident.
