Remarks

Overall the college is good but their are some external factors which makes it ok college to admission in. Some of the factors are Location, Lack of industrial visit etc. so,if you want to take admission in tier 2 b-schools, then KIAMS can be a good option.

Entrance Preview

I have given MATFEB16 and was able to score 94.08 percentile. As, I was not sure about my result so I haven't applied to top end b-schools. Then, someone recommended me KIAMS. So, after a lot of research and after visiting the campus. I selected this college as it is good for marketing.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, the college provide internship to the student of 16 weeks. The student generally get the stipend of between 5-10K per month in well reputed companies. As per the feedback I received from the seniors, they learned a lot during internship and get to know the pratical implication of the concept they have studied.

Placement Experience

Yes, college provide placement facility and they gave Highest Salary : 14.00 lakhs per annum (Amazon India), Average Salary : 5.35 lakhs per annum. Some of the recruiters are: Amazon India, Idea Cellular Ltd., Vernalis, Deloitte Consulting India Private Limited, HDFC Bank Ltd., Airtel etc.

Faculty

The faculty in our college is highly qualified and experienced. Their way of teaching helps you to understand the core concept in the most easiest and practical way. Some of the courses are taken by the guest faculty who have at least 15-20 years of experience in their respective field. Almost all the faculty have written research paper and all are published in reputed journals of management.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

I have given cmat and scored 65 percentile and then I had applied for this college though online mode and I got shortlisted and then there was one interview with the director of the college and I cracked that and got admission in this college.
