Experience at KJC

KJC had high placement rates. So this was my major reason for applying for the college. I wanted to get a job right after my course. The process of applying is just like any other college. First register online, pay the fee, and once shortlisted an interview is conducted. The whole process for me took about 2 months.

The classes at KJC include group discussions and presentations and these were very helpful for me. The faculties are all well qualified; they were also very helpful with the studies. The course both theory and practical oriented, and aims to bring out well rounded professionals.

KJC offered us placement opportunities starting semester three. 86% students got placed in different companies from my batch. Companies that recruited from KJC include Wipro, Deloitte and LTI. Placement packages vary according to the academic qualities. However from our batch they ranged from 5L to 12L.

The total fee I paid was 4 lakhs, excluding the hostel and mess fee. There are scholarship programs that we can apply, if we are not able to handle the fee. These programs are mostly merit based. We had to contact the administrative office to the approvals of scholarships.

The infrastructure and the amenities at KJC are all very good. We had a good library, medical centre, sports facility, gym and air conditioned classrooms. There is a big auditorium where cultural events like freshers day, Kalajyothi and Etna are conducted.

The hostels are affordable at KJC. There are enough rooms to accommodate all the students. I shared room with 2 other students. The hostels are well furnished. The food is available at the mess. The quality of the food is good.
