I chose civil engineering because it opens lots of opportunities for government jobs and also it is very diverse field it in itself has 6-7 different fields so I chose civil engineeringfaculty is mic of both young,dynamic and experienced faculty , most of them is very well qualtified and are distinguished memebers ogf civil socitites across world you can look more about faculty in detail at website belowhttps://civil.iith.ac.in/people-faculty/index.htmland in IITH we don't have semester system but have fracta academic which has many benefits a student can explore a lot other than his regular curriculum also syllabus and exams get evenly divided throughout semester

IITH has seperate team dedicated to campus placements and Internship. Placements stats in last 2 years have decreased due to civid-19, best placements where recorded before covid in 2018. IITh get many other companies ranging from core to non core, managemen, finance, marketing related too and nearly every yesr more than 15 japanese company visit for campus placement

Fee is nearly 130000 per semester without scholarship and consists of all facilties bus, student activities, academics, mess and hostel chargesfor parents income above 8 lakh and in open category may not get any scholarship but many scholarships are available which can reduce the fee to 40000 , also some give yearly /monthly amount as scholarshipbut seeing the facilities provided at IIT the fee is less compare to private colleges providing similar facilities

Annuala Tech and Cultural Fest - Elan & nvision is annual fest spanning over three days, conducted in jan-feb, most of the books required in academics will get in library many bools other than academics are also available, good connnection of E library is also thereclassrooms are designed in very classy and Interactive manner we have different type of classrroms which promote interaction among students, some classrooms have curved tables with chairs than benches, classrooms have been designed to details of absorbing noise to avoid echoe classrooms are designed in best possible waytill now we didnt didnt' had sports and cultural complex but by end of this year it may come, construcution is in process, all types of sports ranging from indoor to out door are played and supported by college recently swimming pool and indoor badminton tebletenning court has been constructedwe have 8-10 cultural and scitech clubs each almost covering all the fields requiredyou can look at cultural and scitech clubs here in IITH students gymkhana website https://gymkhana.iith.ac.in/.many annual inter and intra collge competitions are conducted, every year special focus is also provided to INTER IIT competition, MILAN which was recently started as Inter hostel competition in IIT hyderabad student activities culture is really great and due to less strength one can easily get in shorttlisted competition representing IITH,

no , nothing other than JEE advance and JEE mains is required, I did preparation for complete 2 years away from my home studying in Narayana college in hyderabad, was worth studying there due to good faculty , efforts from both sides and the plan of preparation is made by the itself for students.JEE advance mains requires preparation of physics ,chemistry,maths all what I understood from all my preparation is if you want to crack JEE advance your basic understanding of concepts must be strong and should try to give 100% without fear in exam
