Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is overall good and actually one of the best in India. Though it is very difficult as compared to other colleges of India, but once you study in IIT Kanpur, You have an experience and confidence that now you can do any thing in your life.
Internships Opportunities
Several internship opportunity are their from campus. But even if you dont get it you can grab off campus internship, as Name of IIT Kanpur plays its role.mostly internships are given for software role while some are in finance, consulting and management role.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements in 7th semester. Several companies come to campus for placements and each year around 1100-1300 offers are given to students. Highest package may go to 1.5 crore while average package comes to around 15-17 lacs. almost 65% students sit for placements each year of graduating batch. I will be sitting in placements this year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees Structure is same as all other IITs in India. Tution Fees per semester is as follows:General - 104000OBC- 75000SC/ST - 0apart from this several scholarships and fellowships are also being provided. MCM scholarship is given to economically weaker students. Placements are also good, but not as good as IIT Delhi or IIT Bombay due to Geography.
Campus Life
Life at IIT Kanpur is the best 4 year life you can ever get in your life in any corner of India. There are countless clubs, societies and festivals. Infrastructure is best in class, you have such things and infrastructure in campus that you would hardly find anywhere in india, like Open air theater and Air strip laboratory. Talking about social life, no doubt it is one of its best in IIT Kanpur, but you yourself have to work hard to make it memorable. Though everyone is super supportive. Library has one of the largest book collection in Asia. All classrooms are air conditioned. and NEW LHC is better that MIT and Stanford. You name the sports and you can find that in IIT Kanpur. You will even find the sports in IIT Kanpur which have never even herd of example Frisbee.all the clubs, societies and festivals are being run by students with almost 0 interference from Administration example of festivals - Antaragini, Udghosh, Techkriti.

JEE-Advanced, 2018, 150/372
Admission
JEE-Advanced is the entrance exam for all IITs in India. Questions from hardcore Physics, Chemistry and Math are being asked there in MCQ and integer type format. The pattern of this exam is unpredictable because it changes almost every year.
