Remarks
The Computer Science department of JIIT is one of the best in North India, barring IITs and BITS. The placements are high and the crowd is vibrant. There are numerous hubs in the college which allow all round growth.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Curriculum and Academics are great. the only thing that JIIT lacks is scarcity of High quality faculty. There is almost no faculty genuinely interested in Research. The courses are up to date with the modern demands of the industry and the academic process is good as well. The pattern of taking two Mid Sems and one End sem does seem to work fine and also an extra tutorial class for every course helps a lot.
Internships Opportunities
Not many companies visit the college for internship hires. Students usually find internships themselves.
Placement Experience
The placements are what make this college one of the best in NCR. Almost every one gets placed. Although a lot of people get placed in Mass recruiters but a fair amount of students also get placed over 20lpa by tech giants like Adobe, Amazon, DE Shaw, Deloitte. the highest package from my batch was from Adobe, 43lpa .
Fee Structure And Facilities
Given the college is private, the tution fees is high. But, since it is a non profit institute manages by JSS the fee structure is still affordable. When it comes to the hostel charges, they are fairly justified. The aspects for getting a scholarship are very low, the only such assistance provided is to the highly meritorious students from EWS category.
Campus Life
The annul fest of JIIT is named Impressions and is conducted in February end every year. Other than this there are two Tech fests and several other small events conducted by numerous hubs all around the year. The biggest infrastructural disadvantage of JIIT is that there is almost no space for outdoor sports. Basketball, Volleyball and Badminton are the only courts available in the campus. Other than this the classrooms are fairly modern, smart and have centralised AC. There are more than 10 hubs in JIIT. A few of them are Knuth Programming Hub, IEEE, Developers Hub, uCR Hub(Electronics), Ribose(Biotechnology), Parola (Debate), IOE(NGO) and several other for singing, dancing etc.

Admission
The admission process was totally dependent on the Jee Mains Rank. For other branches a certain percentage of student intake is if students who performed well in their respective board exams.
