The institute is functioned at year 2015, and the institute has advanced course in computer science and mechanical engineering. It is the one of five fully government funded IIITs. After getting a good rank in JEE mains, the counseling process for getting this institute is JOSAA. The reason I preferred this institute over other colleges is that it has design and manufacturing tag. As name of the institute it has design and manufacturing curriculum in courses. The curriculum is according to the name of the institute. In every semester we have projects on lab and some humanity courses are added with core courses. Academics are same as IITs. Minimum qualification to be the faculties of the institute is Ph.D.

There are many companies are taking students for internship, like mobifirst, edureca, cdac etc. for data science, software engineering and web development.There are many PSUs are offering Electronics and Mechanical Engineering students for internship. I have done my internship under my faculty Professor Sreenivasulu Sir on web development (covid19- impact) and done project on institute website.

As I mentioned the institute is new. 1st batch got placed by internships and off-campus placements, 2nd batch started with campus placement. In our batch many companies offered for SDE posts with 4-12lpa ctc. Maximum package offered is 22 lpa .

Tution fee per semester is 59400 and hostel fee per semester is 31500 including admission fee per semester. The scholarship is provided by the NSP (national scholarship portal) to ST/SC and EWS students. Institute also provides some scholarships to economically weak ST/SC students

Infrastructure is not completely functioned. 1 boys hostel (kalam hall of residence), 1 women hostel(kalpa na chawla hostel). 1 hill top dining hall. Classrooms, library ,labs and administration office are in one building. New academic block building construction is started. Only in door sports can be played in campus because the campus is on hill top. NSO (national sport organization) and SSG (Social Service Group) are the part of curriculum.

No interview or group discussion required for the admission in institute. After getting allocation letter from JOSAA you have to the institute at given date of admission. Pay remaining fee. Verification of documents and details. That's it.
