Remarks
The admission procedure is really simple, interested students need to go to the college website and signup for the admission portal, students will also have to submit some documents like 12th & 10th marksheet, transfer certificate, etc. The candidate should've passed 12th with 70% marks in aggregate.
Course Curriculum Overview
The reason why I chose Computer Science as an honors subject is because I am interested in learning about Computers. Most of the teachers involved in teaching the course subjects are very knowledgeable and helpful as well. They make us understand even the difficult concepts in an easy way.
Internships Opportunities
Last month 50+ students got selected from the college for the internship in TCS. Along with TCS, MNCs like IBM, HDFC, Cognizant, Indigo, Wipro, etc. also come to the college for placement and internship purposes.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of The BESC manages the placements and internships. Interested students get themselves enrolled in the placement programme and are selected according to the skill set they hold. The placement cell draws 35-40 companies including the likes of Delloite, Oracle, Wipro, Axis Bank and Indigo to name a few.
Fees and Financial Aid
Well, a scholarship is given only if the candidate has scored 90% or above in his/her class 12th examination. As of now, the college charges Rs. 32220 per semester for B.Sc. Computer Science(Hons), some people may consider this a little on the expensive side but it's worth it.
Campus Life
The BESC is also known for its fests like Umang, INVICTUS, Nexus, etc. The library is filled with books from different genres like fiction, non-fiction, etc., and is fully equipped with AC and proper lighting. The classrooms are also equipped ACs and CCTVs too. The college also has a sports room and encourages the students to participate in different co-curricular in sports-related activities.
