Remarks

The admission process was smooth I applied for around 3 colleges and got selected in 1. I didn't avail for any quota but there is the reservation of around 10% in every branch for management quota. Minimum marks must be 75% in PCM and at least 80% in jee mains for cse/it branch. The admission process is done by online counseling through the GGSIPU website and when you got selected you have to report to the college for document verification and fees payment.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

My 2020 batch is already 6 months late so the college has to catch up the speed so midterm exams happen after 1.5 months and end-term exams after 3 months of college opening. The level of the exam was moderate not so easy not so difficult.

Internships Opportunities

3

The college is very helpful regarding providing the internships, teachers or hod of your branch provides various link regarding internship but getting an internship totally depends on you and your skills. Faculty also helps you regarding your projects and research papers. The conclusion is that teachers are very supportive and they will help you a lot.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placements are good, from the last few years placement percentage and average package is increasing at a good rate. Talking about this year, placement percentage is around 85%-90%, the average package is 6 lakhs and highest package is 40 lakhs and other placement related data you can find on their website.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no fees hike I experienced till I got into this college. The cost to study for my program (b.tech IT) is around 4.5 lakhs There is a fee waiver given to students with low family income. The amount of fee wavier is as follows: 1.25% to those whose family income is less than 800000 per annum. 2. 50% to those whose family income is less than 2.5 lakhs per annum 3. 100% to those whose family income is less than 1 lakh rupees.

Campus Life

3.5

Instead of having a small campus, infrastructure is good, labs equipment and libraries are up to date. There is an annual fest which unfortunately not happening from last two years because of covid 19. There is a lot of cultural and technical societies. The societies like #define and Drishti will help you a lot regarding your professional and personal development.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
