NIT, Jalandhar - MBA programme

NIT Jalandhar has recently been ranked among top 80 overall institutes of the country and that itself tells why I should have chosen it for my MBA programme. The institute is approved from Union Grants Commission and it is the most famous institute of Punjab for technical education. The course curriculum along with the NIT group association with it's name are two of the main reasons for its popularity. Selections in MBA course here are done under the rules and regulations followed across the country for management admissions

This is the thing our institute is most famous for because it follows course structures matching all latest needs of the field and hence help students to prepare in the best possible way for their future endeavours. Pursuing my MBA was an overall great experience for my learning & growth because I had the privilege to work with the best of faculty, students and visiting experts too. I don't think that any of the MBA student in the institute would have been dissatisfied the curriculum

Being the only NIT in Punjab, our Institute receives the best internships for all its programs and the story is quite the same for MBA. It was great to see myself forwarding towards my aim of choosing this institution and I think the institute made that even better through the continuous learning opportunities we got.

NIT Jalandhar offer's various programmes across different disciplines and placements for all pf them are arranged by the placement cell of the institute.The overall highest package bagged during our batch's placements drive was INR 8.6 lpa . The visitors had great job offers for the students & including foreign firms within a total of 98 companies were present for the drive. The names present were; Microsoft, HCL, Honda, Amazon, Mahindra and many more.

My MBA programme at NIT, Jalandhar was good for my financial expenses too because we were charged only INR 2.28 Lacs throughout the programme which included the tuition fee , exam charges and all other academic charges also. For those who have scored brilliantly in the entrance, scholarships were also present.

NIT Jalandhar has been named after Dr.BR Ambedkar and it is built in a large area. Being a part of the NIT group, the institute walks on footsteps of leading NIT's and works to provide students a all-round comfort through it's campus life. The technical activities, sports fest, Freshers party, Farewell party, Academic seminars everything is there and they are all organised well by the societies. For more convenience, Facilities like Cafeteria, Computer lab, Library, bank's and sports stadium etc are also available in campus.

Hostels were available for BTech, MBA and alll various courses while their division was done on gender diversity basis.The facilities included well furnished rooms having attached bathrooms and internet connectivity. For students mental and health care, various activities were available in the hostels. The food served by the mess was totally scheduled as per nutritional needs of the age group and I think that's pretty important because getting the right energy from food is very necessary.

As we know, all NIT'S receive a lot of applications for all their programmes but only few can get to study there. For our MBA programme, also Firstly the institute selected students as per their academic and CAT exam score. Only if they fulfill the requirements and stand among the top names, they will get to appear in the group exercise and personal interview round & after that final merit is prepared for final selections
