Remarks

I was interested in pursuing research in Physics. I applied for IISER's as well, but their exam involved biology section too. Which I hadn't taken in 12th. So, I was unable to crack it. After which I searched for options which were left for me, in which this course was the best one.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum needs to be revised. For example, mathematical physics is taught at the later part and Quantum Mechanics (basic) and Basic electrodynamics are taught earlier. Faculty is very helpful and good natured.

Internships Opportunities

If you have sufficiently good cgpa (above 8.5) there are many internship opportunity for you in India and well as abroad.

Placement Experience

If you want an immediate job after completing the MSc job, better get admission in some btech course. Here, you will be mostly offered coachings like AKASH, Byju's and some IT companies like WIPRO for which you will need to prepare seperately. If you want to get into research then you can apply for various research internships in your college life. Then after which you can prepare for getting into the PhD.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is well defined. There is no issue of being over charged. Scholarships and financial assistance is in general not provided by the institute. I am not sure. About campus jobs - if you want to get placed into IT sector or software companies, you will have to prepare on your own. The mainly company which target this course are coaching classes.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is awesome. However, it depends on you. You can choose to stay in your rooms and not get outside and then blame that college life is not happening. There are various clubs. Dance club, singing club, drama club, art group, techie group etc etc. You need to be up for new adventures if you want to enjoy your life there. Infrastructure is also very upbeat.

Placement Experience:

In the second year of the MSc, many adtech companies come to the campus to hire students. In 2025, 95% students are placed who are interested in the placement of MSc Mathematics. One of my batchmates got an INR 48 LPA package at the Tech company Accenture Japan. And the average Package is an INR 17 LPA.

Maybe after completions of their respective course they have enrolled and can have a campus placement ,I have visited in one company which was odoo there they have shown us how the work is performed and also visited an IT and Cyber security university and 70%percent of student are getting placement.

The placement cell of our campus is very active with proving prior practise session and meetings. It goes on two phase ,one in semester 1 and another in semester 2. The ratio of Btech getting placed is higher than other departments.

Awesome hostels, Supportive Faculty, Modern Infrastructure, Moderate Placements, and Quality Mess Food

Placement Experience:

From our senior batch, 6 to 7 students out of a batch of 30 got placements in ed -tech companies, with one in he IT sector and one in Axtiria. Companies that visit for mathematrics students includes SmartSense consulting pvt. ltd., Axtiria pvt. ltd., Deodhar Classes, Acenture Japan ltd., Future First, Pheonix Institute, eClerx, TCS, Narayana Group, Allen Career Institute, Physics Wallah, and Chaitanya Academy. The highest package offered is 14 lacs in IT company. Overall, placement was good as many of our seniors go for PhD. But it is lesser than old IITs

SVNIT -The best for Transportation engineering

I chose SVNIT just because this is one of the best college for transportation engineering. I had a very good jee mains rank and was getting in every nit and iiits admission in some branches but still i choose this because i had interest in coding and ai.
