Course Curriculum Overview
Semester wise exams are moderate difficulty. Three mid term assessment are conducted in each semester. Student Faculty ratio is good as compared to other IIT's. 6UG courses and 3PG courses. More than that all specialization are giving PhD offers
Internships Opportunities
Paid interested available for UG students. Institute will arrange intership from various organisations and firms. NHAI is also having MoU with IIT Jammu for providing internship.offers to students of IIT Jammu
Placement Experience
Good to moderate level placements are available. Most of the students will get placed. Lot of campus recruitment drives also conducted. Most of the student will get good institute for PhD and PG after completing degree in IIT Jammu.
Fee Structure And Facilities
5% fee hike every year. MHRD fellowships will be given for PG and PhD Candidates. Prime minister research fellowship also available in IIT Jammu. Well furnished hostel with 500rs rent per semester. Per day mess charge is 124. Will be collected for each semester once

Liabrary is there. E-library also available. Cultural,and tech fest also conducted every year. Sports fest alsi conducted once in a year. Peaceful campus life. Air conditioned advanced classroom facilities.

No GD PI will be there for Research Scholar admission. For PG it will be based on Gate scores. UG admissions will be based on Joint entrance exam advanced scores.
