I gave the UPSEE 2013 examination which shortlists students appearing for b.tech and other programs. I scored a general rank of 46300 in the examination. I chose N.I.E.T college as I was already aware through my seniors of the quality education they provide to students and steps they take the hardwork they do in shaping the future of the students.

The current course curriculum is very properly made keeping in mind the cut throat competition life of today. From research point of view, the current course proves to be a boon for young ant talented students to take their skills to new heights. This course not only ensures basic root level knowledge to students but also extremely helpful for those aspiring to go in research and development fields too.

No, my college doesn't entertain internships. Our college doesn't organize internships for students. So students looking for internships in NIET must be a little disappointed .

As my college motto says "Think placements think NIET" , the college administration believes in providing 100% placements. Job opportunities are vast for all branch and program students. Some reputed recruiters are TCS, Hyundai, PARI, 99acres.com, Bharat Matrimony, Joy Robotics, Think and Learn, Pernod Ricard, HCL, Birlasoft, Comprotech, Indian Army etc.

Our college hosts a variety of events. They include Sports Fest, Tech Fest, General knowledge quizzes, Model making competitions, Bridge making competitions, Workshops on latest technology for various branches, Various societies for writing, singing, literary works, music etc. They are organised on a large scale so as to ensure maximum participation from students and also inter college participation at times.

The college believes in appraisal method for improving the performance of students. The topper student from each batch and branch are given a hefty prize of 10,000 INR and 25,000 INR respectively.

The alumni network and seniors are not good enough for us students in this college. Senior though are helpful but that comes with some attitude and self praise deeds.

The exam structure comprises of two semester exams. This includes 3 sessional exams per semester or 2 sessional exams and a pre university test per semester. The exams and labs are conducted regularly so that good knowledge with optimum field knowledge can be given to students.

I got admission in N.I.E.T college through the process of counselling which is provided to students by the U.P.T.U for choosing a college of their choice. The process of seat allocation in any course opted by the aspiring student in any college of U.P.T.U is very good and methodical. Every year the exam conducting authority i.e. U.P.T.U releases notification for UPSEE EXAMS and I also went through this process of online filling of application form for b.tech program 2013-2017. The notification and forms are released online which is very easy nowadays.

The faculty of N.I.E.T needs no introduction as this college has always remained in limelight due to the excellent faculty staff present there. This is a known fact that N.I.E.T enploys the best staff through a rigorous interview and testing process. N.I.E.T makes no compromise in education and believes in providing the best knowledge to their students.
