Remarks
It's a government college and the fact that it's the oldest university in India made me go for it. Especially it is recognised globally, and lies amongst top 50 universities in India. As for the bad aspects, department infra is the worst and placements are primarily just for CSE ,IT,ECE branch students.
Course Curriculum Overview
Owing to the pandemic I didn't have much exposure with the faculty but academics and curriculum wise the course is appropriate for any aspirant. Student ratio can be estimated to be 2:5 or less. Most of the faculty are phd scholars. The exams term is of about 3 weeks and the difficulty level is medium.
Placement Experience
The students become eligible for placements by 3rd year. Amazon has visited the university. Highest package stands to 40 lakhs. Around 70 % students get placed. My plans after the degree is to go for masters.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The cost to study is too high as it is 48,150 per semester. The fees has been hiked due to pandemic. As for providing internships and any job assistance, the students are mostly on their own. Campus job opportunities are great for CSE students package-wise. While other branch students should be prepared for disappointment
Campus Life
Annual fest is gunj and it generally happens in the month of may. A wide range of books & journals are available in the library. Classrooms are well furnished large area along with 4 fans. Sports and extracurricular activities happen quite often. Clubs like Magboard, Osmium, Euphoria are some examples.

Admission
The admission was through JEE mains results via JAC Chandigarh counselling. Preparation for Jee mains should be done with 11th and 12th class preparation.
