My Experience in GU

Ranked 40 by Outlook for Private BBA University. One of my graduation seniors was studying in this university and had all good things to say about the college. I decided to just search it online. While scroling I found an impressive infrastructure and curriculum. so, I decided to fill the online form and was asked to submit my 12th marksheet scoring 68% and filled some personal details. Further admission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET).

Curriculum is the highlight of the course that includes Marketing, Finance, HR, International Business, Agribusiness, Pharmaceuticals, Financial Services, Retail Management, Business Analytics, Media & Entertainment, Integrated Marketing Communications. In my college, most of the teachers or faculty members are helpful and also master degree completed and Ph.D. faculty members. Methods of teaching to the students is very easy and teachers usually teach in English, Hindi and Gujarati languages.

The college provides internships to the students who are in 4th semesters in graduation and also provided references which made my resume strong enough to get selected by the company. I got my summer internship in marketing department.

This institute works hard for placement of all the students. They work better for students bright future and career. All the staff are very helpful to all of the students.The college maintains a 70% placement rate. The highest salary package offered varies from 5 lpa to 6 lpa , and the average salary package offered ranges from 4 lpa to 5 lpa . The lowest salary package offered varies from 2 lpa to 3 lpa . Sun Pharma and Glenmark are some of the top companies that visited the campus for recruitment.

My course was of 3 years for which I paid total fees around 1,80,000. Every year, I paid approximately 60,000 each. I didn't get the scholarship but I got the financial aid help that helped me pay my fees.

In my college, every year at the end of annual functions, events and also other various programs are arranged by college. The wi-fi connectivity is available all over the campus. Also, canteen facility is available in our college. The sports activities are available and inter-class and inter-college activities are available in college. Indoor and outdoor games are available in university.

The university has a 278-acre campus featuring well-designed academic facilities, administrative offices, an open-air theatre, a post office, bank & ATM facility, a gymnasium, a shopping complex with 20 shops, a cafeteria, a medical centre. The campus also features sports amenities including a 400-metre athletics track, cricket ground, table tennis facility, hockey field, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and football courts. The library has more than 1.2 lakh printed volumes and electronic sources.
