Collage you can consider to join (if you don't get IIT/NIT)

UEM is quite a well known college with good placement opportunities. Most of the students get jobs. The college has an online admission system (or you can opt for offline administration also). The administration is smooth. Students can opt for any course of their choice.

I love to solve problems, and write code, moreover, CSE students have the most opportunities in the present market. There is approximately 1 faculty for every 50 students. Most of the faculties are knowledgeable in their respective fields. Faculties are mostly PhD holders (some from IITs). Few of them are postgraduate. We have 2 midterms and one seminar exam each semester. It's quite tough to pass. You need to study hard.

Mainly TCS, Wipro visit the campus for placements. Projects and internships play a crucial role in your selection of internships. Try to build a quality resume (of one page) and provide what the company demands. Build a custom resume for each job.

From the 6th semester, you can sit for the placements. The highest package is 72lk per annum (off-campus) and the average is 6 lakh per annum (on-campus). 116% got job offers (placement still going), 1-9 job offers for each student. After getting my degree I have plans to join DRDO.

Fees never fluctuate. Cost to study is 45000/- collage fees per sem. 5000/- administration charges (one time). 2000/- exam fees (each sem). If you opt for a hostel (Hostel + Mess + Laundry), 40000/- per sem. If you have 85+% in 12th you will get scholarships from the college accordingly.

Annual feast and tech feast are held often. We enjoy and learn at the same time. Books and journals are available in both offline and online libraries. All kinds of sports are available but you would be able to play only those played by most.

Chair, Table, Bucket, Mug, Bed, Bedsheet, Pillow, Pillow cover, Fan, Light, Cupboard are provided by the college on opting for hostel facility. The menu is different for every day and the system is revised every semester depending on the students of 2nd year and 4th-year reviews. Hostel charges - 40,000/- per sem (including Mess and Laundry) It's walk in registration, no need to pre-book.
