Remarks
The admission process went very smoothly. I just went and they guided me to the right places. The campus is very big, we need to walk too much. well, that is also a positive thing. The attendees in the administration cell were very kind and polite.
Course Curriculum Overview
After one month of the commencement of the term Weekly exams started. Then we have Mid-semester exams after 1.5 months. After which we have the manual/assignments submission process then Viva and practicals and Finally, the End Sem exam after around 5 months from the commencement of the semester.
Internships Opportunities
Parul University introduces us to Intershala where we can choose the internship of our choice and then do it. We can also apply for internship at Training centers like Rigtech which is very good training centre situated in Coimbatore, TN.
Placement Experience
My plan after getting the degree is to give my 100 percent in the GATE exam and crack it and pass the ONGC interview to get my job in it. Another option is to gain some experience in the field and then apply in a big company.
Fees and Financial Aid
We can achieve many scholarships like MYSY by performing well in the HSC BOARD. Then we have the National Scholarship Programme (NSP) under which also we can avail scholarships. For MYSY, we need to score atleast 80 percentile in HSC Board.
Campus Life
Many Social media handles are controlled by students of our department. 1) Petroleum Guide. named page on LinkedIn 2) Petroleum named page on Instagram. 3) Most interestingly We also have the SPE(Society of Petroleum Engineers) PU Student Chapter.
