Deepika's Review On Siddhartha Academy Of Higher Education: SAHE University, Vijayawada

I qualified through EAMCET entrance exam, and got 12000 rank. I am basically interested in computer science, but for my rank i had to chose information technology. I got CSE in different colleges, i thought a lot and finally opted only for this college, as i already heard a lot about it. After joining the college.

Our syllabus is autonomous though we affiliated to Acharya nagarjuna university. The course contains basics of all technologies that were in demand, Java, . Net, c, c++ etc. The syllabus is decent enough to learn programming skills and adopt to the new technologies. As always it depends on the students how much we explore to learn.

When i was studying, we got some opportunities to do internships in infosys and tcs. At that time, it was very less. But now, so many of my juniors are doing internships.

Our training and placement cell management is very awesome as we got so many campus recruiters, including some top companies like Microsoft and Google. I scored 87% aggregate overall and got selected in TCS through campus placements. Now i am earning very good amount of salary and i wanna give most of the credits to my college.

We used to have so many cultural fests, technical fests, where people from different colleges used to participate in that. Some events will be celebrated for 2-3 days in numerous events encouraging participation for everyone.

During my time, its 30000 for normal seat, 60000 for double payment and 90000 for payment seat. Per semester but now as the fee structure got changed and now it was increased to 72000 for normal seat for sem. I felt it a bit expensive for middle class people, but i guess its worth of it.

I am not sure about the plenty options for scholarships but i applied for lagadapati raj gopal merit scholarship and got 15000 once. So many of my friends got fee reimbursements for economically backward students.

Campus life is mixture of every emotion. Previously we used to have so much ragging but because of the latest measures taken, ragging was decreased vastly. We do not have gender ratios but we have lot of community differences. People used to divide in to groups and fight among them. But that too will affect the people who involves in those things.

Every year during December or November we will have alumni celebrations, where all the ex students will unite and do so many activities. College will conduct some good events to reunite the students from different parts of the country. Alumni students will always come voluntarily donate or encourage current students with valuable rewards.

Exams will be conducted on monthly basis, we have assignments and unit tests every month and every test results will be taken avg and gets included in final examinations. Exams are neither hectic nor chilled out. Its leaves decent time to prepare for the exams.

Every faculty is atleast post graduated and few of them are PHDs. We don't have any fresher as lecturer. Each lecturer is minimum 3 years experienced. Everyone helps us in exploring new things and encourages for researching about the things. Some might not be that good but i guess its the student who should grab the knowledge from teachers.
