Excellent Participation at V.G.E.C.

I applied for various colleges like: Nirma University, L.D.C.E, V.G.E.C., DA-IICT, L.J.I.T. etc. I didn't apply for India's top engineering colleges like IITs, NITs, because I didn't give JEE MAINS and JEE ADVANCE Examinations. From the above mentioned college I was selected in V.G.E.C., because of my average result on merit base. My institute (V.G.E.C.) runs 9 Under Graduate (UG) and 2 Post Graduate (PG) engineering programs. Out of 9 UG programs, 4 programs are accredited by NBA. From my own interest I chose Electronics and Communication program in V.G.E.C. Cut off Rank for E.C. program in V.G.E.C. was 10,500 and my merit based rank was 8900. So on the basis of cut off I got admission in V.G.E.C. Criteria of candidate for UG program: He/She shall have passed the qualifying Examination with the minimum eligibility of 10+2 for the program. Admission process to all UG program is carried out by the state level Admission Committee for Professional Courses.

First of all I chose Electronics and communications course. From my own interest in chip design, electronic gadgets, telecommunication etc. I chose E.C. course. In our Institute each subject has individual well -qualified faculty. In our Institute faculty: student ratio is 1:20. In my course almost all the faculties were doing their Masters in their individual subject. Our faculties are always ready to give information about latest current technology. Our faculty give same amount of time on theory part as well as practical part of our course. Faculties prepare mid sem exam, internal vivas for internal marks for us. In our Institute mid sem exam is little bit tough for us but it helps us in final exam a lot. Our faculties never denied our doubts during lec, but they are strict while Submission and Assignment work.

Internship opportunity is given to students who is in 7th semester in particular course. In 8th semester student need to do their own project that they learnt throughout 7 semester. For campus placement semester 7 and 8 are very much relevant for student. In our college several companies like: einfochip, TCS, Tatva soft etc. come to give internships to students.

Internships are organized for semester 7 students in our college. Around 6 semester end reputed companies come to our institute for intern the students. In our college several companies like Tatva Soft, Argusoft India ltd., Maruti Technolabs pvt. Ltd. Etc... come to give jobs to students. In our college highest package a student get is 11 LPA. And the average package is 3 to 4 LPA. In All branches, there are around 90 to 95% of placement.

In Vishwakarma Government Engineering College the course fee for my E.C. course is around 1500 Rs. per semester. In our Institute there are different faculties are working for different types of student scholarship. In our Institute there are different types of scholarships like: Coordinator, SEBC, ST, SC, MYSY, NSP etc. For scholarship student must get marks above 7/10. Our fee structure is very much simple like we need to pay exact amount of fee (by online payment) at each semester starts. You can definitely get job from our campus by your own skills and ability.

In our Institute there are several types of webinar, annual fest, fun events, technical fest etc. are organized by student, faculties and expers.in our campus we fi is also available for students to perform projects, present some topics. A cricket ground, a basketball ground, badminton court, Library, garden area etc. are in our campus. In our campus library sometimes some books are available some are not. Our classrooms are spacious enough for students. Every winter one cricket tournament also held in our campus. There are social group like NSS, NCC, and VAA etc. also available in our Institute and these all groups are run by students.
