Remarks

I applied in Delhi University but the reason of not attending was that I didn't get the college in which I wanted to get in. The admission criteria for BA honors in English is your 12th class mark and there is no age limit for it.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose English Honors because of my good capabilities, scores, and interest in the subject. There are 6 to 7 English teachers in the college and the teacher to student ratio in the college is 1:10. They all are excellent in their topics and have a great method of teaching. Our exams are conducted annually and it's easy to pass if the student has attended all the classes throughout the year and has paid attention.

Internships Opportunities

1

There are many internships offered to first and second-year students. Second-year students do get few opportunities but final-year students are much likely to get all the internships. Also, there are a lot of them. They offer roles for Human Resources or teaching.

Fees and Financial Aid

Talking about the fee structure, for our course it's 15000 per year in which hostel fees is excluded. The examination fee is 1950. When you come into your next year, you have to pay 500 registration fees plus the annual fees which is 15000. There is campus jobs, although we did get few internship offers which is most likely offered in your final year.

Campus Life

3

Campus life in our college is great. Events do happen now and then. Infrastructure is also so good, I'd say it is average. The Library only has books of syllabus of available courses, no extra readings can be done. Classrooms have wooden chairs and tables which is also much comfortable. There are limited sports in our college and curricular activities include singing, dancing, story and poem writing and much more. Events in our college allow us to do stand up comedy, meme making, singing, dancing, painting, debating, mimicking etc.

Semester 5th students become eligible for campus placements. Many small companies have visited my university and held campaigns and various events to find the skilled workers for their company. The average package is around 20-30 lakh per annum and the highest was around 50-60 lakh. 60% of students get placement in different companies. After getting my degree i would apply for a job in a good company and will get settled there .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum overall offers a balanced mix of theoretical foundations and practical exposure, making it fairly relevant for students aiming to build strong academic knowledge while preparing for real-world scenarios. Below is a detailed breakdown based on various aspects of the curriculum plus Exams are generally conducted at regular intervals, which helps students stay consistent with their studies. The timing of assessments—spanning internal tests, mid-sems, and final exams—ensures that students are evaluated both continuously and comprehensively. However, sometimes exams may feel closely spaced, which can cause stress. A slightly more balanced schedule between consecutive assessments would be helpful
