The Admission process was by upset exam followed by counseling and according to your rank, you will get the preferred college of your choice . If u want a top-ranking college then u must score a decent rank in the upset exam!
Course Curriculum Overview
The teacher's way of studying is quite good and they are very helpful and kind. I opted for BTech in civil because I am from the beginning interested in structures and the making process and i choose my gut feeling to opt that instead of the people today who opt either cs or it because of better job opportunities and not thinking about whether they are really interested in coding or not!
Internships Opportunities
In The internship opportunities in the college, the companies prefer the students with at least more than 60 percent in the previous semester. The students of citizens have to go to the industry thrice a week and remaining days they have to work 2 hours by online mode. I personally have not done the internship till now due to covid but have heard from the seniors about it and moreover, if u really want the internship from a well-known company there are other methods also like finding them in line .
Placement Experience
The placement cell is good but it depends only on the student whether he has enough skills required for the particular job or not . In the placement cell, they ask you questions related to your enrolled course and after that, there is a group discussion followed by general knowledge and aptitude test. The highest package can go up to 13 lakh and the lowest up to 3.5 Lakh. The percentage of students getting placed is 80 percent in cs/it branch and 50 percent in the civil and mechanical branches. My plans after getting the degree is to do a job for some time and at the same time preparing for a government job, If selected well well otherwise. Will opt for higher study maybe MBA or m.tech !
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees schedule is approx 4 lakh and 70 thousand total of the BTech course and there is a scholarship exam for those students whose parents have yearly income less than 4 lakh. Also, There is a special discount in fees up to 50 percent for The students from the j&k region!
Campus Life
The campus life is pretty decent and the college provides the books for different semesters. The cafeteria is big enough and the staff members are kinda good. There is also a fest and other sports activities in the college. The fest in conducted every year in the month of February probably and there is also a college website where the student can check his attendance and sessional marks for the current semester.
Interview Experience
There was an interview for the process of admission , in the process, u have to fill 2 forms and in that form, u have to fill your 10 and 12th marks as well and the reason u want to enroll in the particular course that u choose!
