I selected this college because of its reputation and decent career opportunities. Secondly it was in my home state. I saw many reviews from careers 360, shine, collegedunia websites which mentioned about course, campus experience, infrastructure etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
Good curriculum which extremely helps the students who are going for masters and PhD. Professors are well qualified and deliver decent information. Well organized exam schedule is implemented at MME department.
Internships Opportunities
Very less companies visit metallurgy department to offer internships. But you can contact professors of the respective department for getting internship somewhere, they are having lot of contacts. I personally mailed professor of iits to get internship which was successful.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th semesters. Placement status is poor in metallurgy department. But many people are able to go for higher studies in foreign or iits and top nits because of decent academic of vnit.
Campus Life
There is a lot you can do at vnit. We have the central India's largest cultural and technical festivals likes arohi and axis. There is also a gym inside the campus for those who want to workout during morning and evening. Infrastructure is good, new buildings are being developed, the auditorium is also being renovated. Library is decent but they lack some books of specialized authors.

You should study for gd from various websites to checkout the latest trending topics. Before sitting for an interview you should thorougly go through company website. Practice for written test from indiabix or any other resource like a standard aptitude textbook. For technical portion of the test brush up everything that you have studied in the past semesters.
