1. i applied for a lot of colleges that invite admissions on the basis of jee mains rank like DTU, NSUT, IGDTUW,etc. i preferred IGDTUW since it was an all-girls college and also i was being offered the branch i desired. in the other colleges, my preferred stream was not available. 2. I applied OBC qouta at the time of admission. i had to produce a recently made OBC certificate along with the income certificate for the non-creamy layer. these documents can be issued by the SDM office of your area. 3. There is a criterion of minimum marks in the respective board examination. candidate should have more than or equal to 75% (general) and 60%(OBC) marks in the board examination. after that your rank in jee mains determines the branch you can take in the college. 4. there are around 6-7 rounds of counseling where you can freeze your seat in the branch and get an admission letter if you fulfill all the required criteria.

1. i chose computer science and engineering since i was always inclined towards computer and software programming and it also offers a very wide range of opportunities for any student who dedicates himself or herself to coding and programming. 2. there's about one faculty for 30-40 students which is commendable given that it is a government university. 3. the faculty members are very well qualified with most of them having doctorates in their respective subjects. they keep up with all the modern and upcoming teaching methods and strategies. they make sure all doubts are cleared and provide guidance to students individually too if required. term exams are always on time. even in the difficult times of corona, the management made sure that the exams were timely and proper. the exams however are of an intermediate or advanced level of difficulty.

Third-year students are eligible to sit for internships. companies like google, microsoft, adobe, citi group, twitter, morgan stanley, goldman sachs,etc come to hire interns. The stipend varies from company to company ranging from 35k per month upto 1.25l per month internships generally include a project that the interns have to work in and present at the end of two months.

students are eligible to sit for placement in the final year or 7th semester also, there are on-campus internship opportunities for the students of third year or 5th semester. we have a lot of companies that come for hiring interns and full time employees like google, microsoft, adobe, Twitter, etc. Our college also has a reputation of 100% placement. my plan after getting the degree is for a job in the corporate world and also look for MS opportunities abroad.

Fees for the course is about 450000.It gradually increases from 95000 in the first year to 125000 in the final year. this fee is exclusive of the hostel charges. scholarships are provided according to the government norms.

Taarangana is the annual cultural fest which is organized in the month of January or February. Innerve is the technical fest which is organized in the month of October. Ignite is the sports fest which is organized in the month of February. there is a very resourceful library with the majority of the curriculum books available. there is a ground in the middle of the campus with football posts installed. we also have a volleyball court and basketball court. for music , dance, literature, etc there are separate societies. our college also hasa rotary club amongst other societies like tarannum, zena, synergy, etc
