An Honest review of ABESIT , Ghaziabad.

I had applied to some other colleges like akg, jss, for CSE but was not able to get their CSE branch, and then I'd come to ABESIT for CSE and get admission on behalf of 12th marks(and also by clearing their admission test). The minimum marks for applying here are about 60-65% and then they take their test for admission in which you have to score about 70-80% marks. And then after clearing the test I'd able to get the CSE branch in this college.

I choose CSE because I have an interest in computer science. The faculty and student ratio for teaching all students effectively are very good. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. qualified and some of the teachers are B.tech and B.Sc qualified also. The teaching quality has been better than in some other colleges. the term exams happen in a regular period like a class test, sessional tests, etc. this college is NBA accredited and this clg is part of AKTU. the term exams are difficult enough to counter the final external exam.

The companies like TCS, Wipro, etc provide internships of about 5000-8000 / month of 3-6 months from 3rd year. They see some really good projects and skills of the student to provide internship and some students of great skills and projects might get great internships.

Students from 7 to semester are eligible for campus placements. Companies like HCL, TCS, Infosys, Wipro visit the college. the average package is 3-3.5 lacs (approximately). the highest package was in the pool campus (amazon) of about 19-20 lacs conducted by AKTU. About 80-90% of students get placed in college placements. my plan is to get placement from college and then apply for off-campus placement.

The fee structure is about 1.2-1.3 lacs while taking admission and after that 1.1-1.2 lacs from the second year onward. You can get an UP scholarship when certain requirements meet. The students who take admission directly are not eligible for scholarships except OBC. the students who take admission through counseling are eligible for scholarships.

The annual fest(Oct) and fresher's day(Sept) happens every year. These special days are interesting to go and enjoy there. But due to the corona pandemic, these fests didn't happen last two years. the books and journals are available in the library which is very clean and Air-conditioned. the classrooms are also very clean and safe and well equipped with an air conditioner. There are also sports clubs and a big ground for cricket and baseball, etc. there are many social groups and technical clubs like GDSC, Codechef chapter, etc.
