Remarks
The admission procedure was quite simple. All I had to do was submit some of my major documents like my 10th and 12th mark sheet and some minor documents via the online portal of Bennett. there was no counseling as such and my admission was done on the basis of my board percentage. Scholarships were available for students with 80% and above.
Course Curriculum Overview
Bennett University has an excellent faculty. Everyone is really polite, and the instructor teaches in a very professional manner. You will have a stable atmosphere in which to grow. The HODs and professors are either from IIT or from other prestigious universities in India. Among other subjects, the computer faculty is the best. Even yet, the test time is still a little hectic, and I felt my first-year exams were a little disorganized. My main reason was to join the Artificial Intelligence subject for which the university is well equipped.
Placement Experience
Placements at Bennett are pretty average. University offers on-campus placements from 3rd year onwards though you are allowed to take up internships from the first year as well. Major companies like Google and Microsoft actually do not come to the university, you have to try off-campus. Though other common companies like Accenture, Infosys, and IBM come to the university with the average package remaining to be 5-6 LPA. Mostly all students are placed, some also having multiple placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The academic fee of my course, Btech CSE is 3,60,000 per year. Yes, it is an expensive college. But the college does provide you with financial aid in the form of student loans which makes it easy. the hostel feels add another 1,75,000 annually. the college provides various scholarships on the basis of class 12th marks or JEE score or SAT score. To maintain the scholarship it is necessary for students to maintain a CGPA of a minimum of 8.0 every year.
Campus Life
Bennett University is a fun place to be at. We are given a wide platform to explore our fields and develop new skills. The university withness the Blue Moon annual fest with an amazing and charming atmosphere for students from all years together. We are offered high-level facilities from two libraries to the best sports campus. Sports include Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton, lawn tennis, etc. Even academically there are hackathons and regular webinars by student-led clubs like IEEE and ACM.
