Admissions into CCET takes place through JEE Mains ranking. The counselling process is online and there are to total 4 rounds. If you are from Chandigarh so there is an 85% quota and you can get admission on a decent rank.
Course Curriculum Overview
All faculty members are well qualified and they are in the institution for a long period. They take care of all the doubts and help you in the best possible way. All the teachers here have complete PhD and some are Mtech. They have good experience of teaching ranging from 10-15 years. There is a total of 2 types of exams in internal and external. Internals happen twice in a semester and finals happens once in a semester. So in a department, there are approximately 10-15 teachers who take care of all the subjects and practicals. For passing the exams they are quite difficult mostly numerical based questions used to come and they are quite hard to answer checking was also strict but done by the faculty who is teaching you. For internal examinations, you have to study from the notes provided by the teachers and for externals, you need to study in detail so that you can answer the question or numerical. This Institute is a blend of opportunities and challenges to choose wisely.
Placement Experience
So the placement percentage lies between 30 to 40 % and the average package lies between 6 LPA to 7 LPA and most of the students prepare for different kinds of exams after completing their degree. My plan after doing my degree was to work for a corporate so I was also placed and started working in a reputed organization.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is affordable and anyone can afford it as we can see engineering fees are always on the upper side but if I talk about ccet so the fees structure is descent. So the course fees for one year ranges from 60000 to 75000 hostel charges are different and mess charges are not counted in this apart from this every semester there is an examination fee of 2500 which you have to pay and for backlogs the same fees you have to submit as well. If I talk about placement so the placement is not that good companies do come but technology companies are not there only non tech compy come for campus placement.
Campus Life
There are different types of clubs such as dancing clubs, drama club, sports, NCC, NSS so these are all the clubs we have but college doesn't support for these clubs but yes students manage at their own for these clubs win a number of competitions an arrange for funds and all.
