Entrance Preview

Entrance Exam: EAMCET, Rank: 55000, This is known to be one of the best women colleges and it is the only college available in the City, Hyderabad. All the other engineering colleges in Hyderabad are situated at the outskirts of the city, Hyderabad.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The Course structure just changed the year i joined. The course was not very well structure in 2005, the year I joined this course. The board introduced various new things for us. They have introduced an English lab in improve our communication skills as they found it very important for us in secure ourselves in future.

Internships Opportunities

Our college doesn't support internship Program. In the course of four years of time i spent in my college, Bhoj Reddy college of engineering for women, i have never come across a situation where i have found our college to be offering internship. We have only B.Tech, MBA, MCA programs available for the regular students.

Placement Experience

3

Bhoj reddy college of engineering for women is one of the best colleges, the college facilitated us with a placements officer and his duty was to ensure maximum number of students are placed in the multi national companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college does not provide any loans. But there is a scholarship program for the scheduled caste, scheduled tribes & backward caste offered by the state government of Telangana. Our college supports all those students who have enrolled for this scholarship and help them by providing all the supporting documents related to it.

Campus Life

4

The gender ration is 100% womens as the college is a women's college. We had a great enjoying in parties as every year we had a party thrown by our seniors or juniors. every year we have a freshers and a farewell party. Freshers party is thrown by the seniors for the fresh batch coming in and the fairwell party is thrown by the juniors to their seniors.

Exam Structure

We had five labs and 7 subjects in the first year. thereon we had six subjects and 2 labs in every semester, in total we had 7 semesters. every semester had four internals and one internal lab. One external exam with one external lab. As the semesters were only for six months the exams were quite but as our faculty always used complete the schedule before had i did not face much issues in managing things.

Admission

I got the admission by the normal counselling. Based on the rank achieved in the entrance exam EAMCET, we were called on a particular day by the university, JNTU. On the day of counselling we were shown all the available seats in the engineering colleges until that day, and we were given a couple of options of the colleges.

Faculty

3.5

In comparison with the other colleges in Hyderabad, the faculty is much efficient and qualified. my friends studying the same course in the other colleges had a lot of complaints on their faculties that they are under qualified. But when i compared our thoughts about the lecturers of Bhoj reddy college, we had a completely different and contrary opinion.
